New Post - Thanksgiving
I hadn't posted much lately, so thanks to Kendra...here ya'll go. ;)
We're in December, things roll too fast this time of the year. I've been called as Sunday School President (what the heck is that??) and "am in charge of teaching the whole ward how to teach," per my bishop & the 1st counselor. Pretty funny huh. It'll be cool, but it was funny cause some guy I don't know yet (from the ward) handed me a piece of paper on Sunday, asking me to inventory how many manuals we need to order up for the next year. What?! How do I do that? (jk) Amber was called to be Camp Director (again)! Yay, I get to be a 4th year, this year! She's excited, too.
Cyber monday (for those of you who follow online retail) actually showed a ten percent increase this year, for holiday shopping. With all that's going on in the economy, we know for certain one thing: people spend their hard-earned dollars on friends & family. Although overall, retail slid this last quarter, people still want to bless the lives of others. I hope we all take the time to remember why we celebrate Christas. Let us love one another, as Jesus loves us.
Enjoy some of our more recent photos:
Whitney & "bright-eyed" Susanne.
Evelyn & Hailee, enjoying the warm 40 degree weather.
Paul & the deep-fryer, "Alotta work," he says.
Pie time in Boise.
Amber helping prepare Thanksgiving dinner.
TR & his pies!
(stay tuned for more photos to come)
We love you all!

Farewell luncheon
We had a great time; I know it's been a while, but I thought a quick trip down memory lane could be appropriate. This is at Mom&Dad's afternoon Sunday luncheon (after they spoke in church) about two weeks before they left for their mission. After only being in the MTC (provo, ut) for a few days, they were asked to leave after only preparing there for a week to DUBLIN, IRELAND! But, we had great food (thanks for all who helped & prepared) and great fun, especially w/ that darned carport, canopy (I mean) cover overhead. :)
Say "cheese"
Grandma Mary Lou's "Cousin lunch" '08
This was at the Mandarin House (Pocatello, Id) where the 2nd generation of Howard & Evelyn Thirkill Cousins met this summer (august). They had a great time reminiscing and each reporting their brief life histories over excellent food.
Please someone (Marylou) help me with the names & where each are from. Also, were they all sons and daughters of Howard's siblings? or Evelyn's siblings?
OK, I got the answers (Thanks to Marylou.) Pictured are all cousins; they are either sons or daughters of Grandpa Howard Thirkill and/or his siblings. (hopefully that makes sense)
In the pic of them standing against the wall from L to R:Dale (John) (his wife is Mary Lou) Thirkill - son of Jack (John);
Mary Lou (husbands Arnold Campbell & John S. Lambourne) - daughter of Howard;
Donna Mae Christenson (husband Chris) - daughter of Frank, who was murdered;
Blaine Panting (wife Margaret) - son of Lettie;
Georgia Wilson - daughter of Plett;
Dick Allred (wife LaPril) - son of Molly
Huckleberrying
Us huckleberryin' up 8mile (Soda Springs, Id) in mid August. We got buckets & buckets full, so come by for some breakfast!! (whole wheat huckleberry pancakes w/ homemade maple syrup)
--well, atleast one full bucket--
(it was way more work than I thought; we actually spent 8 hrs picking!)

We're on board!
We have presently been relocated in Pocatello (which happens to be TR's 21st place to live in pocatello) at: 855 Park Ave Apt 2, Pocatello, ID 83201.
We have boxes piled high in every room, as we've not had time at all to finish unpacking. Do it as we go, I guess, but our goal is to be done by Halloween.
We continue to run our ecommerce business from home and appreciate any of your support. Check our mall-front out (instead of costco, walmart, winco etc) at: http://www.campbell-life.mychoices.biz/ Business is going great, especially amid this economic downfall; after all even though many in america aren't in the market for a new auto or home, they're stilling buying soap, toothpaste, shampoo and toilet paper. Hey, in fact, we guarantee you'll save on these items (I just mentioned) or your money back, no questions asked. So try it and holler at us if you have any questions.
We just tried our new ward (last sunday) and of course I knew a few people there and even Amber new two people (so she was excited!) We were sad to leave our old ward though.
I am now into the postseason of football (HS) and have just started reffing a little hoops, as I did the ISU scrimmage last saturday. My 1st college game is Nov 8th at CSI (twin falls, id) @ 7:30pm. The high school season starts up on Nov 15th or so (but ahhhg, that's kinda boring.) LOL
Talk to ya'll laterz...we love you.
